Rotary E-Club of the Carolinas is proud of our Service Above Self and of taking action to serve remotely, in person, and through group, individual, and special projects.

2024-25

First Project of the Year

Our first service of the year was to disaster relief following the impact of Hurricane Beryl on our Zone 33/34 this summer. The Happy Bucks donations collected in July were allocated to that donation. Rotary E-Club of the Carolinas contributed $417 to this effort!

Individual Service

Members are already submitting their individual service hours for this year. Members are asked to submit two projects during the Rotary year, and this is service not organized by the club. It is also service performed in the name of Rotary. Members can submit their hours and project information to this Google Form.

Rotary Cares for Veterans - Remote Service - November 2024

For the 5th year, we have organized a Remote Service Project in thanks and service to veterans. E-Clubbers write notes of appreciation and care to residents at the Richard E. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home in Anderson, SC. This year, members wrote more than 250 notes.

Musical Instrument Collection - Group Service - November 2024

New this year for our club is a Group Service Project to collect musical instruments to benefits clients at Piedmont Music Therapy. What a wonderful opportunity to serve and put music into the world. Members were so generous, donating MANY instruments like recorders, maracas, percussion pieces, and even a keyboard. Big Thanks to Service Chair, Candace Wyman, for planning out this group service project.

Happy Bucks - November 2024

In November 2024, members donated to Happy Bucks with purpose. A portion of our HB went to The Hope Pantry at Piedmont Technical College in Greenwood SC. The pantry meets basic needs for students, staff, and faculty in the area. Rotary E-Club of the Carolinas is proud to have donated $308 from this special project.
